This model is a faithful replica of the Polish cavalry saber designed in 1934 by the Military Institute of Armament Technology in Warsaw. These sabers were produced in the years 1936-1939 in Huta Ludwików in Kielce. Almost 40,000 of this type of saber was put into use. It was the last Polish cavalry saber.
