This forged and tempered sabre is designed for light practice in cutting strength.
Supplied with a blunt blade for safe training, it may also be sharpened according to the user’s preference.
Blade: hand-forged and tempered 1060 high-carbon steel
Hardness after tempering: 52–54 HRC
Characteristics: resilient and flexible, flat, single-edged with a central point; ground on both sides with twin fullers; polished steel surface
Maintenance: the steel requires routine care and oiling to prevent corrosion
Decorative elements on the blade:

Outer face: floral design with stylised lilies and the inscription “HONOR I OJCZYZNA” (“Honour and Fatherland”)

Scabbard:
Constructed from steel, covered in stitched black leather, with a leather-lined interior to protect the blade from rust.
Three fluted brass fittings – the upper and middle with suspension rings, the lower finished with an asymmetrical drag. The top fitting bears the admiralty anchor motif with rope.
Grip:
Closed hilt with brass mounts. Cross-guard with side bars; front arm arched towards the pommel, rear arm ending in a flat teardrop. The pommel tilts forward, capped with a fitting extending into a braid down to the guard, completed by an oval rosette with a screw securing the tang.
The grip core is wooden, ribbed across, bound in black leather and wrapped with double-twisted brass wire filigree.
